This two-day psychedelic conference brings together indigenous wisdom, scientific research, and visionary artistry, offering a transformative space for exploration, connection, and dialogue. Attendees will engage in thought-provoking panels, immersive workshops, and experiential sessions led by renowned scientists, indigenous knowledge keepers, therapists, and leading voices in the psychedelic field.

Our Speakers

Baba Masha

Baba Masha, M.D., is a pediatrician and OB/GYN with a doctorate in medicine and a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering. Since 2014, she has hosted the Radio Psychedelix podcast, delivering harm reduction education on psychedelic plants and shamanic remedies to Russian-speaking audiences. From 2018 to 2022, she led an international study on Amanita muscaria, involving over 12,000 volunteer trials, culminating in her book "Microdosing with Amanita Muscaria." She resides in Northern California.

Simon RuffeLL

Dr. Simon Ruffell is a psychiatrist, ayahuasca researcher, and student of curanderismo. Since 2015, he has worked closely with Indigenous communities in the Amazon, studying the effects of ayahuasca and the role of ceremony and spirit in healing. His work bridges spirituality and science, collaborating with the Shipibo-Konibo people to translate traditional plant medicine knowledge into scientific research while honoring Indigenous traditions. He is the CEO of Onaya and co-founded the nonprofit Onaya Science, which researches the effects of ayahuasca in naturalistic Amazonian settings. Additionally, he is the Chief Medical Officer of MINDS.

Bryan Hubbard

W. Bryan Hubbard is a pioneering advocate for ibogaine research and development, aiming to harness its potential as a breakthrough therapeutic for opioid dependence. As the Executive Director of the REID Foundation's American Ibogaine Initiative, he has made significant contributions to public understanding of ibogaine's neurorestorative properties, galvanizing grassroots support for its development as an FDA-approved treatment. Previously, Hubbard served as the Chairman and Executive Director of the Kentucky Opioid Abatement Advisory Commission, where he championed innovative approaches to address the opioid crisis.

Juan De Dios Kucho

Juan de Dios "Kucho," born in Cusco, Peru, is an Inka shaman and spiritual guide deeply connected to the sacred site of Machu Picchu. Since 1991, he has served as the official Spiritual Guardian of Machu Picchu, a role appointed by the city's mayor. Don Kucho has an intimate knowledge of the site's spiritual and historical significance. He has been initiated with the spirit of Apu Machu Picchu to elevate humanity's Consciousness and to purify and regenerate the planet, a process known in the Andes as El Gran Pachakuteq - the great transformation. Don Kucho works with huachuma, or San Pedro, a sacred plant medicine, used for thousands of years in the Andes.

Matthew Johnson

Dr. Matthew W. Johnson is a leading researcher in the field of behavioral pharmacology, specializing in psychedelics and addiction. A professor at Johns Hopkins University, he has conducted groundbreaking studies on psilocybin’s potential for treating tobacco addiction and cancer-related psychological distress. His 2008 risk and safety guidelines helped revive psychedelic research. Now a senior researcher at Sheppard Pratt’s Center for Psilocybin Research, he continues exploring therapeutic applications of psychedelics. Dr. Johnson’s work has significantly influenced the scientific and public understanding of psychedelics as promising treatments for mental health disorders.

Hamilton Morris

Hamilton Morris is an American journalist & scientific researcher renowned for his in-depth exploration of psychoactive substances. He is the creator and host of the television series Hamilton's Pharmacopeia, which investigates the chemistry, history, and cultural impact of various psychoactive compounds. Morris has contributed extensively to Vice Magazine as a science editor and has been a correspondent and producer for Vice on HBO. His work examines the intersection of science, culture, and policy, shedding light on the complexities of psychoactive substances and their role in society.

W. Leonard Pickard

William Leonard Pickard, a former Harvard research associate and UCLA drug policy fellow, was alleged to have produced "90% of the world's LSD.” He served 20 years in maximum-security federal prisons before his compassionate release in 2020. His book, The Rose of Paracelsus, written in prison, is published internationally. In 1996, he predicted the fentanyl epidemic, later confirmed by RAND Corporation. He now advises JLS Fund II LP and the Fireside Project and is a research affiliate at Harvard Law School's Petrie-Flom Center. A sought-after speaker, Leonard explores psychedelics, AI in drug development, and criminal justice reform.

Juliana Mulligan

Juliana Mulligan, a psychotherapist and former opioid user, overcame addiction with ibogaine therapy in 2011. With an MSW from NYU, she has spent over 12 years advancing ethical ibogaine treatment & harm reduction. She has worked as Psychedelic Program Coordinator at the Center for Optimal Living and consulted for the Kentucky Ibogaine Initiative. Now, she provides therapy at Chrysalis Integrative Psychotherapy and leads Inner Vision Ibogaine, guiding clients in preparation and integration. A writer and educator, she advocates for survivor rights, ethical standards, and safety in psychedelics, emphasizing intuitive healing and meeting clients where they are.

Ben Malcolm

Virtual Presentation

Dr. Ben Malcolm earned his BS in Pharmacology at UC Santa Barbara, followed by an MPH and PharmD from Touro University California. He completed residencies in Acute Care at Scripps Mercy Hospital & Psychiatric Pharmacy at UC San Diego Health, becoming Board Certified in Psychiatric Pharmacy. Formerly an Assistant Clinical Professor at Western University of Health Sciences, he now serves as a Psychopharmacology Consultant, Psychedelic Educator, and Founder of Spirit Pharmacist. Ben advocates for safe psychedelic access. He has authored numerous peer-reviewed articles on psychedelics and psychiatric medications.

Elisa Vargas Fernandez

Maestra Elisa Vargas Fernandez lives in San Francisco de Yarinacocha, Peru, a small Shipibo community, where she runs Sanken Nete, an ayahuasca healing center. She is passionate about fostering healing and connection within her community and beyond. Guided by her mother & grandmother, she shares medicine through beautiful icaros (or healing songs), gracefully guiding others on their healing journeys.

Larry Norris

Larry Norris, PhD is the cofounder of Decriminalize Nature, which began in Oakland, CA in 2019 and has sprouted across the US. He is also the co-founder of Entheogenic Research Integration and Education (ERIE), a nonprofit organization which offers education and integration support for those interested in entheogens. His doctoral research focuses on ayahuasca experiences & integration, as well as expanding integration concepts beyond psychotherapeutic paradigm.

He believes it is an unalienable right to have one’s own relationship with Nature, and encourages communities to build support structures related to entheogens.


Christine McCleave

Christine, an enrolled citizen of the Turtle Mountain Ojibwe Nation, has been working in Indian Country at the national level for more than 10 years. Most recently, as the CEO of the National Native American Boarding School Healing Coalition, she advocated for truth, justice, and healing for the ongoing trauma from the genocidal policy of U.S. Indian Boarding Schools. Christine is currently a doctoral student pursuing her Ph.D. in Indigenous Studies at the University of Alaska Fairbanks where her dissertation is focused on using entheogenic plant medicines to heal Indigenous historical trauma.

Heather Beltz

Heather Beltz is a Tlingit and Iñupiaq Tribal Healer dedicated to revitalizing Indigenous plant medicine & holistic wellness. She previously apprenticed as a Tribal Doctor at Southcentral Foundation (SCF), gaining hands-on experience in traditional healing. Heather is currently a student at Bodhi Academy’s Psychedelic Facilitator Training. Passionate about mental health, addiction recovery, and cultural preservation, she advocates for the safe, ethical, and culturally grounded healing practices to support Alaska Native communities facing trauma, depression, and substance use disorders.

Kevin Matthews

Kevin Matthews led the 2019 campaign that made Denver the first city in the the United States to decriminalize psilocybin mushrooms and catalyzed a national plant medicine reform movement. In 2022 he was the co-chief proponent of the historic Natural Medicine Health Act, making Colorado the only state to fully decriminalize the personal and ceremonial use of plant medicine. He’s currently a speaker, advisor, and trainer and resides in Colorado with his family.


Beth Law

Beth Law is a retired Colonel, helicopter pilot and combat veteran with 34 years of service in the U.S. Army and National Guard including her time in the Women’s Army Corps. She is a passionate advocate for psychedelic healing, having seen firsthand the transformative power of psilocybin & other natural medicines. Beth’s mission now is to ensure that every veteran has the support they need on their path to recovery, well-being, and a renewed sense of purpose.

Bia Labate

Dr. Beatriz Caiuby Labate (Bia Labate) is a queer Brazilian anthropologist based in San Francisco. She has a Ph.D. in social anthropology from the University of Campinas (UNICAMP), Brazil. Her main areas of interest are the study of plant medicines, drug policy, shamanism, ritual, religion, and social justice. She is the Executive Director of the Chacruna Institute for Psychedelic Plant Medicines.

Carl Ruck

Dr. Carl A. P. Ruck is a professor in the Classical Studies department at Boston University. He received his B.A. at Yale University and a Ph.D. at Harvard University. Carl is best known for his work along with other scholars in mythology and religion on the sacred role of entheogens, or psychoactive plants that induce an altered states of consciousness, as used in religious or shamanic rituals. His focus has been on the use of entheogens in classical western culture, as well as their historical influence on modern western religions.

Mark Hoffman

An independent researcher, editor, and author, Mark holds degrees in Religious Studies, and Philosophy. He has academic training and professional experience in Museum Studies, having worked as a curator and collection manager. Mark is the editor of entheomedia.net and director of The Wasson-Ruck Institute. Over the past 25 years, Mark has co-authored 7 books with Dr. Ruck on the topic of entheogens and religion.

Candace Lewis

Candace Lewis is an assistant professor with a dual appointment in the School of Life Sciences and Department of Psychology at Arizona State University. Her research focuses on the impact of early life social experiences on epigenetic regulation of gene systems involved in mental health & the potential of psychedelic-assisted therapy to reduce symptoms through psychological healing and epigenetic alterations. Lewis has been funded by the Science Foundation Arizona, Fulbright Association and the National Institutes of Health.

Ana Verzone

Dr. Ana Verzone is a PMHNP, FNP, nurse-midwife, and mindfulness meditation teacher. She specializes and is certified in psychedelic-assisted therapy, KAP (or ketamine-assisted psychotherapy), & frequently hosts nature based wilderness retreats. Her calling is to help people discover and embody their soul-based life purpose to make the most of this one precious life, especially through exploring connection to the wild, our impermanence, and the longing contained in grief. She is also the founder of InsightAK.com and host of the top-rated Rebel Buddhist podcast.

Tami Lubitsh-White

Dr. Tami Lubitsh-White, a licensed psychologist certified in psychedelic-assisted therapy, employs diverse modalities such as psychodynamic psychotherapy, EMDR, sensorimotor therapy, hypnotherapy, & art therapy. Specializing in trauma, mood disorders, and anxiety, she emphasizes the importance of seeing beyond diagnostic labels & integrates behavioral health into primary care. As the manager of an integrated program, she explores the interconnectedness of mind, body, & heart, demonstrating her commitment to holistic well-being while guiding clients on their healing journeys.

Glenn Evans

Glenn Evans is a Native Alaskan (Athabaskan) born into poverty, abuse, and neglect; and raised in a dry cabin in rural Alaska (Manley Hot Springs) where alcohol abuse and child molestation are an open secret. Taking on the role of “man of the house” at age nine, Glenn Evans shares entertaining, but heartbreaking, stories of survival and loss.


His quest for healing eventually led him to personal development, plant medicine, and daily meditation. Today Glenn is a transformational speaker and coach at GET Thriving, a company he co-founded to help other men turn their survival skills into thrival skills.


Matthew Brockmeier

Matthew Brockmeier works with Antithesis Law in Boulder Colorado. He is a legal expert specializing in cannabis, psychedelics, and drug policy reform. Matt was active in the rulemaking process for the Natural Medicine Health Act, Colorado’s groundbreaking ballot initiative that legalized plant medicines for personal use and established licensed healing centers. He is also a proud founding board member of the Psychedelic Bar Association.


Michael Demolina

Dr. Michael DeMolina, brings an integrative approach to his practice at Wisdom Traditions. His background spans East & West, as Past President of the National Qigong Association to a masters in Adult Education and a doctorate in Archetypal Studies & DreamWork. Most recently he received a Certificate in Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy from CIIS, and Lykos Therapeutics. He is a Master Trainer of Energy Psychology, and an Owner of the Society of NLP, providing Certifications in Trauma-Sensitive approaches to healing the Body & Mind. He has certified Life Coaches throughout the Americas and is an initiated Paqo in the Womanlipa healing lineage of Peru.

Melissa Bradley

Melissa Bradley is an epidemiologist and graduate assistant at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and the University of Alaska Anchorage who examines risk and policy related to psychedelic assisted therapies. Previously, she was a research coordinator at Johns Hopkins University working on experimental tobacco studies and systematic reviews of psychedelic therapy.


Clancy Cavnar

Clancy Cavnar has a doctorate in clinical psychology (Psy.D.) from John F. Kennedy University in Pleasant Hill, CA. She is Co-Founder of the Chacruna Institute for Psychedelic Plant Medicines. She is also a research associate of the Interdisciplinary Group for Psychoactive Studies (NEIP). She combines an eclectic array of interests and activities as clinical psychologist, artist, and researcher. Clancy is author and co-author of articles in several peer-reviewed journals and co-editor, with Beatriz Caiuby Labate, of eleven books.
